Description

The Merritt Island Home Renovation transformed a traditional 2,875 sq ft residence into a modern, coastal-inspired home with enhanced structural integrity. CAD Design Systems delivered a full residential remodel package, covering architectural layouts, structural design per FBC 2023, and complete MEP coordination (Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC). Key features include an open-concept kitchen and living room, updated master suite, and an EV-ready electrical system. We provided detailed 3D visualizations and a walkthrough animation to achieve a fully permit-ready plan set for the homeowner and contractor.

Electrical System: Complete rewire using copper conductors and arc-fault protection per NFPA 70 / NEC 2023. Includes updated panelboards, lighting layout, GFCI outlets, and EV-ready circuits

Mechanical Layout: Duct runs, returns, and supply registers planned for balanced air circulation and efficient HVAC zoning (Mechanical Plan).
Foundation Integration: Slab reinforcement and elevation coordination ensure consistent load transfer for new partitions and kitchen island load-bearing walls.
